What is Toddle Along in Stroud?

It’s a community website for parents and carers in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Started by Kazz Hollick in 2015, and cared for by other parents along the way too.

It should, in theory, have up-to-date information because people kindly send us updates!

Why do you do it?

Because when I was a new parent I needed information about where things were happening. I also think it’s important to have up-to-date information about where to find support because it’s not always smiles and roses.

In fact, caring for children can be the hardest situation, so having important numbers to hand is really crucial.

It’s also how I taught myself to make websites, and making websites is now one of my many jobs. So I’ve got plenty out of it too!

Can I help a bit?

Yup. Feel free to contact me via the form and I can task you with finding more updated information for the website, to help everyone. Or if you’ve edited websites before, perhaps you could become a contributor, and do it yourself!

That sounds like effort… Can I send you £1 instead?

Yes please!

I’ve set up a ‘Buy me a coffee’ account so you can contribute to the cost as a one-off, and I also set up a ‘Membership’ so you can pay £1 per month to help with the costs of it too.

But it’s not expected.

Local Businesses Blog

I have a local small business, can I have a mention on here?

Sure! As a thank you for their support, I’ve started a blog page about some of the brilliant local businesses we’re lucky to have in the Stroud District.

If you run a business that helps and supports local families in some form, then feel free to choose the monthly ‘business’ subscription on Buy Me a Coffee (or the “Supporter” £1 subscription) if it's something you can afford. I'm happy to include your basic business information on the blog, and share a post on Facebook, to promote your work.

There are monthly costs for running this website (not including my time), so it would be great if the community can contribute to it too.
